Civic Engagement Scholarship

$2,000 per year, renewable during your undergraduate career.

Eligibility

The Civic Engagement Scholarship recognizes freshman and transfer students who are committed to civic engagement and will give back to our Bloomington-Normal community.

  • Admission

    Admitted to the University as a freshman or transfer for summer or fall.

  • Service Hours

    100+ community service hours since beginning high school

Scholarship Process

  • Apply to the University by priority deadline
  • Submit your scholarship application—the deadline is February 1 for freshmen and March 15 for transfers
  • Award winners are announced in early spring

Renewal

Freshmen

  • Renewable up to three additional years
  • Continuous enrollment with 12+ hours

Transfers

  • Renewable for one additional year
  • Continuous enrollment with 12+ hours
