The Department of Marketing offers a Master of Science in Marketing Analytics and a Business Analytics Graduate Certificate. It also staffs and offers graduate courses in Marketing and in Business Education.

Marketing Analytics

Degree Offered: M.S.

The Master of Science in Marketing Analytics is designed to provide the students with both broad and deep technical skills in Marketing Analytics as marketing positions continue to evolve into a technical role within an organization. The Marketing Analytics Master's degree emphasizes the quantitative and analytical side of marketing managerial decision-making and provides breadth of coverage to include advanced data management and other business analytics foundations. The degree thoroughly trains students in use of business analytics to power data-driven, customer-centric decisions.

Requirements for this 36 hour program include:

Core Courses (6 courses – 18 hours)

Capstone Experiences (9 hours)

A combination between (3 or 6 hours),(3 or 6 hours), (6 credit hours)

Elective Courses (3 courses – 9 hours)

Students are required to complete three additional electives (9 hours) chosen from a list of pre-approved elective courses in consultation with their graduate advisor. We offer a wide variety of elective courses to be congruent with each student's goals and design individualized Plan of Study.

Business Analytics Graduate Certificate

The ISU Graduate Business Analytics Certificate Program is designed for students who (1) have completed an undergraduate degree program, and (2) have had undergraduate training in business and/or have been employed at least one year in a business enterprise. The certificate program consists of four courses (3 credit hours each) which can be completed in an academic year. The 12 credit hours of the Business Analytics certificate would count toward an MBA degree from ISU if the student later enrolled in the MBA program.

12 total hours are required to complete this graduate certificate.

The required courses must be completed with grades not lower than a “C” while maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.00.
